What has been your favorite/best experience at UT Dallas so far?

Researching with world-renowned faculty.

What did you learn about college life that you didn’t know before?
Pushing your boundaries and exploring new things make college life much more interesting and enjoyable.

What do you like to do to unwind after class?

Play video games.

Why did you decide to become a First Year Leader (FYL)?

My FYL's experiences and stories were helpful to me in RHET 1101, and I thought that I had some perspectives on college life that would be helpful to incoming freshmen.

Is there anything you wish you did during your freshman year that you didn’t?

Meet more people.

What advice do you have for the incoming freshman class?

Don't forget about academics (we're all here to get a degree), but enjoy yourselves while you're here - there are lots of great opportunities to take advantage of to make the next four years some of the best of your life.
