University Recreation provides programs and quality facilities to enhance the overall extracurricular experience for students at UT Dallas. There are six program areas within University Recreation: club sports, intramural sports, fitness, aquatics, events, and informal recreation.


University Recreation operates many facilities. Our Activity Center contains a fitness center, multi-purpose rooms, indoor swimming pool, climbing wall, and 4 sports courts. Rec Center West contains a fitness center, multipurpose room, and 2 sports courts. Outdoors there are basketball courts, soccer fields, tennis courts, softball, and baseball fields.


University Recreation hire students to fill several positions, ranging from facility staff to sports officials.
