Group X

Exercise in a group! Rather than jump on a machine or go for a run, gather some friends and get your workout by moving to the beat of your favorite songs. Trained instructors lead the workout through a variety of movement combinations that exercises your muscles while you have fun at the same time. Whether it be bootcamp, yoga, cardio dance fitness or Zumba, choose something you like and join the group!

Group X Pass

Semester Pass Individual Pass
$50 access to all classes $3 access to any individual class
  • Comet Card required for entry.
  • Summer 2018 passes are good for May 29th - August 3rd.
  • Classes begin on Tuesday May 29th, 2018.
  • Classes end on Friday August 3rd, 2018.
  • No classes on Independence Day (July 4th)
  • There is a $20 card replacement fee for a lost or stolen Group X pass
  • Refunds are only available through June 8th, 2018.
  • Participants must show proof of pass and ID before entering class.
  • $10 Class Passes are non-refundable.
  • Sponsored guests will be required to pay the $2 Activity Center / Rec Center West fee as well as a $3 group exercise fee for a single class.
  • Community Users will be required to pay the $5 Activity Center / Rec Center West fee as well as the $3 group exercise fee for a single class.
  • Classes in residential areas are for area residents and semester pass holders only.
  • Passes will be prorated to $25 beginning July 2nd, 2018.

BOSU® Hiit - This exciting high intensity interval training class incorporates the BOSU® balance trainer. Challenge your core, improve you balance, and get super fit with BOSU® hiit.

Circuit Training - Liven up your workout circuit style. This class offers stations of cardio, strength, plyometric and core training focus. Maximize calorie burn and discover new exercises you might not have tried on your own.

BOSU® Yoga - Add a whole new dimension to your mind-body training with yoga poses using the BOSU®. Challenge your balance, engage your concentration, and increase your flexibility with this unusual format.

Butts & Guts - An entire workout dedicated to building core strength, toning legs, and sculpting your lower body.

Dance Cardio Fitness - Move to great music and let off some steam - all while burning calories and achieving overall toning for the whole body. Easy to follow dance steps from a variety of styles combine with high cardio and kickboxing sets so there’s never a dull moment.

Kickboxing - This intense workout is a combination of aerobics, boxing, and martial arts. Improve on your strength, fitness, flexibility, coordination, and balance.

Spin - This program is the original and most popular group cycling class. It will not only increase your cardio but will sculpt and tone your body.

Total Body Toning & Total Body Toning Plus - Sculpt a well-toned, well-balanced and well-proportioned body with this strength –training class.

Tango - This Tango class is for anyone interested in learning the tango-era dances. Rhythm and footwork will be covered, with a focus on technique and musicality.

Yoga - Explore yoga postures and develop flexibility and balance. The focus here on proper alignment will bring you balance, strength, and a wonderful feeling of calm.

Yoga - Flow - Vinyasa means "breath-synchronized movement," and Vinyasa yoga is a series of poses that will move you through the power of inhaling and exhaling. Vinyasa movements are smoothly flowing, which explains why it is sometimes referred to as Vinyasa Flow or just Flow.

Zumba & Zumba™ Dance Party - Zumba™ combines high energy and motivating music with unique moves and combinations that will sculpt and tone your body. Who ever thought sweating could be so much fun?
