Group X

Exercise in a group! Rather than jump on a machine or go for a run, gather some friends and get your workout by moving to the beat of your favorite songs. Trained instructors lead the workout through a variety of movement combinations that exercises your muscles while you have fun at the same time. Whether it be bootcamp, yoga, cardio dance fitness or Zumba, choose something you like and join the group!

Group X Pass

Semester Pass Individual Pass
$50 access to all classes $3 access to any individual class
  • Spring 2018 passes are good for January 8th - April 27th.
  • Classes begin on Monday January 8th, 2018.
  • Classes end on Friday April 27th, 2018.
  • No classes on Spring Break (3/10 - 3/18).
  • There is a $20 card replacement fee for a lost or stolen Group X pass
  • Refunds are only available until January 17th, 2018.
  • Participants must show proof of pass and ID before entering class.
  • Sponsored guests will be required to pay the $2 Activity Center / Rec Center West fee as well as a $3 group exercise fee for a single class.
  • Community Users will be required to pay the $5 Activity Center / Rec Center West fee as well as the $3 group exercise fee for a single class.
  • Classes in residential areas are for area residents and semester pass holders only.
  • Passes will be prorated to $25 beginning March 6th, 2018.

Class Descriptions

Belly to Barre - Power up your core and step to the barre to tone and sculpt long, lean muscles.

Bootcamp - Break past personal boundaries in this supportive environment designed to expand your comfort zone. Interval cardiovascular training, weights, and a variety of other fun exercise toys are used in this class.

Body Pump & Body Pump Express - Focusing on low weight loads and high repetition movements, you'll burn fat, gain strength and quickly produce lean body muscle conditioning.

BOSU® Hiit - This exciting high intensity interval training class incorporates the BOSU® balance trainer. Challenge your core, improve you balance, and get super fit with BOSU® hiit.

Circuit Training - Liven up your workout circuit style. This class offers stations of cardio, strength, plyometric and core training focus. Maximize calorie burn and discover new exercises you might not have tried on your own.

Cize® Live - Dance your way to fit with a step-by-step program from the creator of Insanity®. This pulse-pounding workout will condition your heart and lungs, strengthen your core, and send you out the door with a spring in your step.

Fitbody Group Training – Do you feel overwhelmed when you walk into the Fitness Area and see all the machines, weights, pulleys, benches, etc?
Come to this FREE Small Group Training class to learn the basics of fitness training. You’ll learn proper form and receive instruction on how to use the equipment.

Foam Roll Fit - Unleash your fitness potential with this fusion class of strength building exercises and mobility work.

Kettlebell - Includes a compilation of the most effective Russian Kettlebell workouts ranging from muscle building to core and abs to hard core cardio.

Kickboxing - This intense workout is a combination of aerobics, boxing, and martial arts. Improve on your strength, fitness, flexibility, coordination, and balance.

Spin - This program is the original and most popular group cycling class. It will not only increase your cardio but will sculpt and tone your body.

Total Body Toning & Total Body Toning Plus - Sculpt a well-toned, well-balanced and well-proportioned body with this strength –training class.

Power Yoga & Power Yoga 90 - Practice cardiovascular and meditative Yoga postures correctly to lengthen the muscles, open jammed joints and practice breathing more effectively and effortlessly.

Yoga - Explore yoga postures and develop flexibility and balance. The focus here on proper alignment will bring you balance, strength, and a wonderful feeling of calm.

Yoga - Flow - Vinyasa means "breath-synchronized movement," and Vinyasa yoga is a series of poses that will move you through the power of inhaling and exhaling. Vinyasa movements are smoothly flowing, which explains why it is sometimes referred to as Vinyasa Flow or just Flow.

Zumba & Zumba™ Dance Party - Zumba™ combines high energy and motivating music with unique moves and combinations that will sculpt and tone your body. Who ever thought sweating could be so much fun?
