Support Tomorrow’s Teachers Today

Many of UT Dallas’ brightest science and math majors are forgoing more lucrative careers because they are committed to educating the next generation of scientists and engineers. Their passion for teaching should be rewarded, not penalized with crushing student loan debt.

Your gift to UTeach Dallas, in combination with others, provides scholarships and internships to help future math and science teachers focus their time and energy on preparing to take their place in North Texas classrooms. It also supports personal induction support for new UTeach-trained teachers in the Dallas-Fort Worth area for the first three years of their careers.

Every gift, large and small, makes a big difference for an aspiring teacher. Donations are pooled in an endowment to provide the following student support:

• Introductory teaching classes, including field experience in local classrooms: $250.
• Paid internships within education organizations: $2,000.
• Annual scholarship support: $5,000/semester.
