This course introduces Geographic Information Systems in a multidisciplinary context. It is part of UTD's 15 semester-hour graduate Certificate in GIS, and may also be incorporated into a Master of Public Affairs, into a Master of Geoscience, or into the Master of Science in Geographic Information Sciences. GEOG 3304 Tools for Spatial Analysis meets in conjunction with POEC 6381, although requirements differ for students not seeking the Certificate in GIS.
