Welcome to Lv's quantum materials physics research group at University of Texas at Dallas! In our group, we focus on searching for new quantum materials, synthesizing high quality of polycrystalline and singe crystalline materials, and investigatinng the fundamental physical properties of these materials at low temperatures upon different magnetic fields and pressures. Our current research interests are on superconducting, ultrahigh thermal conducting, topological, and two dimensional (2D) materials, while we also have broad interest to other energy-related thermoelectric, magnetic, multiferroic, electronic, and photovoltaic materials. Both highly motivated graduate and undergraduate students are welcome to join the group!
