UT Dallas’ origins as a graduate and research institution are reflected in the proportion of resources devoted to graduate study. Graduate students comprise nearly 40% of the university student body and many graduate students pursue full-time study. The University’s location and mission encourages area professionals to hone their skills and keep pace with our swiftly growing urban community.

Seven schools, multiple research centers, and over 90 graduate programs span the arts and sciences, engineering and management and provide you the very best in teaching and research. These offerings along with policies and procedures are detailed in the graduate catalog. The University has had a strong foundation in interdisciplinary study and our graduate students also benefit from exposure to fields outside their area of study, reflecting real-world intersections in emerging fields and technological advances.
