BRIEF BIO:
 
I am an Associate Professor of Computer Science at University of Texas at Dallas (UTD). I joined UTD as an assistant professor in 2006 after receiving my Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. I received my B.S. degree in Computer Science from the University of Science and Technology of China. My research interests include computer graphics, computer animation, and visualization, with an emphasis on geometric modeling, processing, and physics-based deformation. My current researches at UTD are focused on: mesh generation, centroidal Voronoi tessellation, spectral geometric analysis, deformable models, GPU algorithms, 3D and 4D medical image analysis, etc. I received the prestigious NSF CAREER Award in 2012.
